Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also was SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. Although she usually led from the acting group In her final year of work with SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Alongside her acting work, she's also involved in several game programs. Her family was a mix of siblings and two brothers in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard Post. Post's poetry lover wife Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school of choice. She was a cheerleader. She briefly studied at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. On a personal note Post was earlier married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. The couple is blessed with two daughters. Post is a great actress, as well as the perfect wife and mother she is an inspiration to many Hollywood actors.
