Amanda Seales aka Amanda Diva was born in Los Angeles California on July 1, 1981. She is a Comedian DJ and content creator. As a child Amanda emigrated out of Los Angeles, and eventually Orlando. She attended Dr. Phillips High School and then went on to SUNY Purchase. Her masters included African American study with a hip-hop concentration in Columbia University. Her career began in the now infamous Nickelodeon series My Brother and Me in 1994 in the role of Deonne. Later, she became well-known to the public thanks to her performance in the role of VJ Amanda Seales the face of Hip-Hop, on MTV2 Sucker Free Sundays. Amanda Seales changed back her name to Amanda Seales in 2011 after being poets of spoken word and recording musicians. She soon was back on television adding stand-up comedy to her list of credits. She is the CEO of DivaWorks Inc. her production company, which is where she performs and produces funny, original content for screen and stage. She is active in the empowerment of young women as well as promoting the elimination of racism.
